Recently our worker Jose traveled 4 km off the beaten path crossing a river, which happens to be the only way to get to this village called Santa Marta. Actually we have to travel about half a km down inside the waters of the river getting to the spot to exit for the community village of Santa Marta which has no electricity.

Santa Marta is filled with over 400 homes with around an about at a fork in the road where happens to be located a water well. side note, the last time we was here to maintain the well was in 2020. At that time we added a machine we repaired from another project but unfortunately it has completely deteriorated with much rust and corrosion. All the four sides broke free of the frame which did not allow the wheel to turn or function properly not allowing the water to release from the bottom pulley placed deep within the tube system. so what it means is this…..too many thirsting people trying to constantly get water from one source with no other options to gain. Even just a day broken was a tremendous ( lets be honest with ourselves, and yes I’m guilty as well….we would probably start freaking out without access to water) sacrifice but through God’s grace we was able to cut and weld together another durable machine at the ministry base to continue the calling placed upon our hearts to serve in Nicaragua, reviving hope among the lost, restoring faith by repairing water wells, searching out so they can again feel what love is love through Gods plan as our family ministry continues searching, planting, sowing and telling of Gods goodness through our acts of kindness possible by your partnerships with us.

As Christians, I think along with not just believing that we need to continue plant seeds of faith no matter where we go daily or look in this aspect as well, where God sends us. Foreign or domestic. Within our comfort zone or stretching us to the point of no surrender opening up our souls lighting a fire where a spark has been lit to walk in higher calling placed among our lives. it is our duty, our blessing as Jesus said in Mark 16:15 ~ And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.

Once we do that the harvest will someday come regardless of whether we see what Jesus has done through us with our own eyes or not. Because unfortunately we are not always the ones to be there for the harvest, but we must continue to preach the gospel wherever we go in any form or fashion. My personal beliefs are, that we are the walking gospel walking through Jesus…meaning that even if we do not actually preach or quote bible verses by heart, it should not stop us with the main purpose at hand. Being His hands and feet through our daily acts, which will start producing Gods love allowing the Holy Spirit to be the Producer through us in His timing through our works.

Each day is such a great gift we are given from our maker. His new freshness with new light along gives at the same time brings us the hope and strength to carry on with the cross of Jesus upon our shoulders. Every small act we do affects the whole picture of Gods masterpiece. This world does seem to have a lot to offer but when we compare it to the grace and love God give us, regardless of who we are or what we have done, it does not even come close to living in the light of Chris. His is our Healthy soil. Aqua de Vida wants to continue to stay planted in good soil and help produce a harvest of good things that help others. As we continue repairing wells to bring life back into the broken while planting much needed crops for all to be blessed with plus seeds for them to start planting themselves to supply for generations to come. All this is and has been possible because of partnerships like yours. We deeply want to say Thank you as we pray to move forward together. All portions come from above, so it is a true blessing for what is received to multiply for Gods Kingdom.

After becoming a follower of Jesus, it did not take me long to recognize that life was all about living in a field of crops or in a weed patch. So I decided that if I really wanted to pursue my faith I needed to hang out with less weeds and over onto the good soil of life. Staying plated in the good soil is a choice that is completely up to us. We can uproot and move anytime we desire to. It always breaks my heart to see people throw their relationship with God away when something tough happens or even when they are on top of the world forgetting where all of it has come from. The importance along with the significance of His transforming promises. But I guess that is why Jesus said essentially only a quarter of those who hear the word of God will ever produce a crop BUT Jesus said that should not stop us being His love and light by continuing planting seeds of faith through acts of kindness.

I pray through partnerships like you, we can continue together serving, helping, sharing, caring through repairing water wells along planting seeds of corn, beans and fresh fruit and vegetables to serve the poverty in Nicaragua through our family ministry Aqua de Vida. We all have it in us, Let Us let God water us and see what comes of it.
